"I hope this Works Out, Cardio"-Fareastmovement

I feel great...you know why? Because lately I care more about myself..and my health. I've been pretty good at exercising my heart (running). And I think that's important! Why? I'm taking care of myself so I can be around to take care of my family. My family is important to me, so I'm going to do all the things I can to support that importance in my life.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I've notice that a lot of young people are dying of heart attacks and some are suffering health problems due to an unhealthy lifestyle. It's sad to see such young people become so careless to the point that their life ends too soon. As a fast moving society, we are hungry...and it seems we don't have time or we just don't make the time to put good things into our bodies, and for a fast moving society...it's ironic that we have become lazy. It's so much easier to just sit in front of the computer, to watch t.v., to drive, to play video games, to um um lay in bed a little while longer--I mean a lot while longer! What we need to do is develop a higher self-esteem and discover the energy and motivation to get up and out to care about our bodies. Start out small...and then always always be determined to reach the big goal. You're not going to get anywhere by just sitting there and you're definitely not going to get anywhere by thinking about it...your heart, mind, body, soul will thank you--and I gaurantee...you will feel better about yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. And if you feel happy about yourself, the people around you will feel this way about you as well.

The only person that can keep you going is you and the only person that can bring you down is you! Ultimately, you have choices...and you can make the right choice. Start today...and then do it again tomorrow, and the next day.

1. buy yourself a nice pair of athletic shoes (don't forget socks)
2. wear comfy clothes (gym shorts/spandex/t-shirt/athletic clothing you know...)
3. run

easy enough right? jk...probably not if you are just starting out.

1 and 2 for sure.
3. start out walking at a fast pace...and add spurts of running in there, walk when you are tired.
4. walk less, run more
5. run
6. run longer distances
7. run faster
8. run faster longer
9. run up hill
10. keep on running...for the rest of your life- no joke.

If you make the choice to start running because you want to lose weight, well great...but eventually you will reach that goal, don't you dare stop because that's not what it's all about. Being healthy doesn't mean you are skinny...being physically healthy means you have normal blood pressure/sugar, you are strong, you can reach, and you can endure physical activity. A skinny person doesn't necessarily have these characteristics...and she/he must exercise to gain these things. To be healthy you must make it a lifestyle.
